Please inform us of your wants and possible allergies so that we may choose the family that is best suited to your expectations. Age, interests and profession are also taken into account prior to selecting a host family.
Half-board : Single bedroom or double bedroom if you have a companion.
Breakfast and evening meals are taken with the host family. This is an excellent way to learn about the French way of life and develop conversation skills.
If you want to be independent but get the benefit of the French atmosphere :
Bed and breakfast : Single bedroom or double bedroom if you have a companion.
Lunch and evening meals are not taken with the host family
Room with access to kitchen :
You will be independent but you will have less contact with the host family.
Staying with a family is a pleasant way to practise your French and to learn about the French way of life. Utmost care is taken in selecting our family accommodations which are all located within a short distance from the school (max. 20 minute walk or bus/tram ride). All family accommodations have signed a contract with ILP and most have been working with us for several years. They are accustomed to receiving foreign students and we visit them regularly.
We advise you to get in touch with your host family two weeks prior to the start of your course at ILP so that they may be informed as to the date and time of your arrival. A member of your host family will meet you at the airport or at the station (from 8:00am to 11:00pm ).
Arrivals take place on the Sunday afternoon and departures on Saturday mornings.
Following confirmation of your registration, we will send an accommodations contract and details of the family.
At the end of your stay we will ask you to fill out an assessment questionnaire to see if you were satisfied with your accommodation.
Flat sharing :
A good compromise if you do not wish to stay with a family but enjoy sharing an apartment with other students. Single bedroom or double bedroom, shared kitchen and bathroom.
Studio or furnished apartment :
This type of accommodation is suitable for those staying 4 weeks or longer (arrival at the beginning of the month).
Studio or furnished apartment in a residence inn :
All of the apartments are well designed and furnished with a fully equipped kitchenette : microwave grill, ceramic hobs, fridge and dishwasher, living room with sofa-bed, telephone, satellite TV, stylish bedrooms, bathrooms with heated towel rail and hair dryer and a separate toilet facilities. Covered parking : Restaurant open for lunch and dinner. A rod top swimming pool with a sun terrace is available for the use of the clients (and a sauna and Jacuzzi - with supplement).
Renting for a week and longer possible.
Room in a private hall of residence,
from June to September :
Room in a private hall of residence located in a park within a short distance of the city centre (individual room with bathroom and shower, large shared kitchen with fridge and private lockers, dining hall and TV room
).
Arrival on Sunday from 2.00 pm to 9.00 pm and departure on Saturday before 10.00 am.
Room in a university hall of residence
in July and August :
Single room with shared wash hand basin, shower and bathroom. Short distance to the city centre. Kitchen at every floor, kitchen utensils not supplied.
Arrival on Sunday from 2:00pm to 12:00pm. Departure on Saturday before 10:00am
Transfer to and from your place or residence (bus, taxi, tram) is not included in our prices. ILP will give you all necessary details. We can, however, arrange transfer if requested (transfer from station 25,00 € ; transfer from airport 30,00 €).
